OUTintheOPEN invites YOU to reimagine a world where LGBTIQA+ people are portrayed as more than just their LQBTIQA+ label; a world where we see LGBTIQA+ people as we truly are: more than the punchline, more than the side-kick in someone else’s story, more than a throwaway character that ‘ticks’ the diversity box…
REIMAGINE YOU! … AND WIN A $100 PRIZE!
Your task, should you choose to accept it! >> Design an image, a meme, a piece of art, a photo, ANYTHING that expresses what REIMAGINED means to YOU!
Submit your entry/photo via submission@outintheopen.org.au with your name, contact details and a brief outline of what REIMAGINED means to YOU.
Please include our OUTintheOPEN logo, Festival dates and the word ‘reimagined’ in your design. (Some examples below…)
Entries open 1 August 2022 and close 30 October 2022.
All entries will be uploaded to our Facebook Page on 31 October and the general public will ‘vote’ (via a ‘Like’) for the most popular entry.
The entry with the most ‘Likes’ at midnight on Friday 11 November will be deemed the winner.
Winner will be announced on 12 November at Carnival Day.
